Biography

Sam Bechthold graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Utah in 2005. Following graduation, he worked as a project superintendent for Okland Construction where he managed multiple commercial construction projects in Virginia, California and Utah. Recognizing a need in the industry, Sam left Okland and started HomeWorx of Las Vegas, a third party post‐construction customer service company that specializes in working with developers and builders to provide new buyer orientations, punch‐list closeout and warranty management. HomeWorx generated $500K in first year sales while providing service to many of the world’s foremost developers: Malouf Enterprises, Hallier Properties, Palm Beach Resorts, L5 Development, BSR Group and Trump International. Concurrently with his other ventures, Sam owns and operates SBPM, a management company in Salt Lake City, Utah that specializes in tenant improvement and residential remodeling. Upon completion of the Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate at Cornell, Sam plans to pursue a career in real estate development and construction management.
