Biography

Jonathan Cohen graduated with a bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University in 2005. He began his career with Turner Construction as a field Engineer at the Newton Wellesley Hospital project in Newton Massachusetts. This 80 million dollar project included the lifting and relocation of the 100-year-old Ellison building (as filmed by the History Channel) 150 yards. After the relocation of this historical building, Jonathan performed line and grade layout and coordination for the expansion of the Hospital’s emergency department and parking garage. In the summer of 2007 Jonathan performed superintendent responsibilities at the Greenwich Academy Middle School renovation. Jonathan coordinated 100+ workers in the demolition and renovation of the Middle School during the school’s summer recess, ensuring a timely opening for the fall classes. This fast paced project put in place over ten million dollars of work in less than four months.  Over the course of this project, Jonathan was responsible for scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with the owner, architect, and engineer. After graduation Jonathan looks forward to working for a Real Estate developer.
