Bio
David Funk completed his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an interdisciplinary focus on real estate and university administration. Prior to that, he worked in the real estate field for eight years, with responsibilities in construction, property management, and development, including projects in historical preservation. During this time, he also founded Ohio-based Capstone Properties LLC and Capstone Property Management Ltd. as real estate holding and management companies. Before coming to Cornell, Dr. Funk directed full-time and executive M.B.A. programs, including the program at the University of Alabama’s Manderson Graduate School of Business.
