Women in Real Estate Prospective Hosting Weekend

Every Spring the Center for Women in Real Estate hosts female prospective applicants from all over the globe. Our guests participate in the classroom experience as well as meet faculty from various disciplines in the program. Submit the Spring 2011 application by December 3, 2010. Note: The itinerary is included in the application . Those who have submitted an admissions application prior to January 1st need only fill out the indicated section on this form.

CREW/ Cornell MPS/RE Graduate Scholarship

In collaboration with the CREW Network, the Center for Women in Real Estate will honor a scholarship towards women in the Baker Program in Real Estate. Each year one current female student is awarded this honor in consideration of her participation and commitment to the advancement of women in commercial real estate. Congratulations to 2010 recipient Jennifer Gleason ‘13.

Pre-Orientation Women’s Leadership Retreat

Each Spring, the 1st year graduate students arrive on campus to engage in an intensive leadership retreat. In the past this “boot-camp” has entailed one-on-one interview coaching and resume review with recruiters, career counseling, and assertiveness workshops . This experience culminates in an overnight camping challenge and dinner with program staff. Accepted students will be able to sign up for this opportunity in late June.

Trailblazer Mentorship Program

Female students of the program are matched with female alumni of the Baker real estate program. In addition to the program’s career services, this relationship assists students in navigating both their academic and professional careers.

Cornell Career Trek Women’s Meeting

During the annual Spring Trek to New York, female students and women alumni of Baker real estate program convene to network and conduct mock-interviews .
