Active Private Equity Real Estate Strategy is divided into two parts: first, a comprehensive overview of real estate markets, forecasts, and trends, and, second, a collection of active investment strategies for real estate investors. Together, these two components provide a rigorous data-driven, analytical, quantifiable framework for investors to implement in their search for alpha returns in real estate investing, according to Dr. Lynn. “Real estate has always lagged the other asset classes in the use of quantification,” explains Dr. Lynn, “This book offers perspectives of both a top-down and bottom-up approach (see Figure 1) and moves investors a step closer to catching up with their methodologies.” In addition, Lynn’s book includes a simulation of an economic recession and the expected impact on commercial real estate and examples of portfolio analysis and allocation recommendations.
