The finalists’ articles have been forwarded on to a subcommittee chaired by the Director of the Program in Real Estate at Cornell University with Award recipients announced in May. According to Chris de Mestre, CRER-Executive Editor, there has been significant interest in the award in 2007 with an influx of submission as the March 30, 2007 deadline approached.
“We are very pleased with the response that the ING Clarion Award has generated,” said de Mestre. “The Award has proven to be a significant draw card for submissions and, with the support of ING Clarion, represents a distinguished recognition for scholarly work within the realm of real estate.”
The CRER editorial staff would like to extend their congratulations to the finalists. The winning article will be published in the upcoming edition of the Cornell Real Estate Review and all of the finalists’ articles will be available from the CRER website.
The ‘ING Clarion Most Outstanding Article Award’ would not be possible without the generous support of ING Clarion. The award is granted each year to the student with the most distinguished article that appears in the Cornell Real Estate Review. The award recognizes and encourages professional excellence in the study and practice of real estate. Nominees must be enrolled full-time in a Masters Degree or PhD in a field directly related to real estate.
