The Cornell Real Estate Industry seminar welcomes Andrea Foertsch, Managing Director of Asset and Project Management for Haveland Estates LLC of Boston and Stamford, CT this Thursday. Ms. Foertsch will incorporate her experience of breaking into new markets, investigating a new product type, unraveling a regulatory process, and how to troubleshoot a portfolio or navigate a complex competitive bid process into a presentation around entrepreneurial activities in real estate development.

Over her 25-year real estate career Ms. Foertsch has been involved in the development of amenitized golf course communities, adaptive reuse of industrial areas, biomedical research laboratories, and office and mixed use. At Haveland, Foertsch is in charge of all assets in the portfolio of this boutique real estate investment firm, post closing.  Foertsch implements the value-added strategy for the portfolio. Prior to joining Haveland Estates, Ms. Foertsch was principal and founder of Melrose Real Estate Strategies, a real estate consulting firm specializing in corporate and institutional real estate advisory services, including: acquisition and disposition strategies, cost benefit analysis, valuation of land or facilities, project feasibility and market studies, lease analysis and portfolio review.


Ms. Foertsch received her BS in Urban Studies from Cornell, and is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council.
