The Cornell Real Estate Industry Seminar welcomes Phillip Wiggins, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Stratford Company to campus as the featured speaker on Thursday, February 18, 2010.
Mr. Wiggins is both Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Stratford Company, a land acquisition firm, and Stratford Realty Capital, a debt placement company. Using his thirty years of experience in land brokerage and investments, he has built an organization that has raised approximately $500 million in private equity through a series of single asset partnerships and discretionary funds. The funds have purchased and lent on land in Arizona, Texas, the Carolinas and Georgia. They have generated an average annual return in excess of 25% to investors in the Stratford Company and ten percent to those who placed funds with Stratford Realty Capital.
