The Real Estate Industry Seminar scheduled for March 31, 2011, will feature Leonard Greenberg, Founder and Principal of Greenhill Capital and Steven Karr (B.S. in Housing Economics ‘78 and B.Arch ‘79), Founder and Principal Architect of SJKAIA. Leonard Greenberg and Steven Karr will share their experiences of working together for more than a quarter century as developer and architect/planner respectively on projects throughout the greater Washington, DC, many of which are located in and around Wheaton, MD.
Founded in 1974 by Mr. Greenberg, Greenhill Capital and its affiliated entities comprise a diverse portfolio of office, retail warehouse and multi-family properties throughout the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Mr. Karr founded SJKAIA in the early 1980s and the firm has completed over 200 design engagements ranging from historic rehabilitation to modest retail renovations to larger mixed-use projects, many of them for the Greenhill Companies.
