He currently enjoys emeritus status with Design Workshop and lives in New York City writing and advising community developers who are striving to create new communities based on the principles of sustainability.
Prior to to the seminar, please visit the “Spg ’10 Seminars” folder at the Blackboard site for CRP 5370 (Real Estate Industry Seminar) where you will find:
• A copy of the announcement flyer for this seminar
• A link to the Design Workshop website – www.designworkshop.com
• A copy of the Design Workshop Marketing Communications Manual. This nearly 18 Mb file is worth careful review. It sets the standard on how to implement an outstanding approach to corporate identify. Design Workshop follows the standards articulated in this manual in all of documents and exhibits that the firm creates.
• A listing of 142 awards that Design Workshop has received from 1982 through 2008. These award include three recognitions of their work on the Summerlin master planned community in Las Vegas (one of which is the prestigious Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence), and two awards for their work on Kierland Commons, landmark mixed use development in Phoenix Arizona. Kierland Commons should be on everyone’s list of projects to tour.
