The Cornell Program in Real Estate Distinguished Speakers Series welcomes Frank Apeseche to campus. Mr. Apeseche is Chief Executive Officer of The Berkshire Group, an institutional sponsor of both public and private multifamily real estate enterprises with over 40 years of history. The Berkshire Group currently operates through two platforms: Berkshire Property Advisors, (Berkshire’s nationally integrated, one thousand employee, multifamily investment advisor) and Berkshire Realty Ventures, (Berkshire’s private equity subsidiary, focused on real estate entity level investments). Today Berkshire’s apartment portfolios encompass over 33,000 units in 30 markets.
Over the past two decades Frank has led Berkshire through several strategic undertakings which helped fortify its current position in the multifamily industry, and will draw upon this background for his prepared remarks titled: LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN REAL ESTATE:
A LOOK AT STRATEGY AND HIGH QUALITY EXECUTION AT BERKSHIRE. He holds a BA from Cornell University, an MBA from the University of Michigan and is a faculty member of the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
