The Cornell Real Estate Industry seminar welcomes Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) President-Elect Collete English-Dixon to campus this Thursday as part of the Cornell Real Estate Industry Seminar. The Cornell Program in Real Estate and CREW recently formed a strategic research partnership, which will include the publication of the report: Women in Commercial Real Estate 2010. Ms. English-Dixon’s visit to seminar will help celebrate the Cornell/CREW partnership as well as focus attention on women’s issues in commercial real estate.
Serving as President of CREW (beginning in 2011) is a volunteer position, and when she is not involved with CREW activities Ms. English-Dixon is Vice President, Transactions, for Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI), a business unit of Prudential Financial. She is a co-leader of PREI’s national investment dispositions program. Previously, Ms. English Dixon was responsible for sourcing wholly-owned and joint venture real estate investment opportunities in the Midwestern markets covering all property types, including office, multi-family, hotel, industrial and retail properties. In 1979, Ms. English Dixon began her career with Prudential as an asset management analyst.
Ms. English Dixon received her BBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1979. She earned her Masters of Business Administration in 1982 from Mercer University.
