The Cornell Real Estate Industry seminar welcomes New York City developer David Picket to campus this Thursday as part of the Cornell Real Estate Industry Seminar. Mr. Picket, president of Gotham Organization, Inc., direct’s oversight for all new all new project development for his company, with responsibilities including site identification and acquisition, coordination of design and approval process, sourcing project financing, setting up of rental or sales programs, and management. Prior to Gotham, Mr. Picket worked in the re-structuring of real estate relationships with Citicorp Real Estate. Prior to that, he was an attorney with Robinson, Silverman where he was Responsible for structuring and negotiating the sale/acquisition, leasing and financing of commercial real estate, in most instances on behalf of developer clients.
He graduated from Cornell in 1984 and then went on to Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council, an Advisory Board member to the Cornell University College of Arts & Sciences, and is on the Board of the Harlem YMCA.
