James Carolan, Partner with Withers Bergman LLP, will kick off this semester’s seminar series with a look at real estate investment and transactions in the non-profit and higher education arenas. Mr. Carolan leads Withers Bergman’s US real estate practice, which handles both residential and commercial transactions, particularly for the nonprofit, luxury, and art sectors. Previously, he was Associate General Counsel for Yale University, and continues to serve higher education clients on a range of real estate and business engagements. James is a 1981 graduate of Cornell and went on to earn a master’s degree at Stanford and his law degree from the University of Connecticut.
