The Cornell Real Estate Industry seminar welcomes Kevin Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of Longview LLC, as the kickoff speaker for the fall Cornell Real Estate Industry distinguished speaker series on Thursday, August 27th. Mr. Fitzpatrick is the Managing Director of Longview LLC and has more than 30 years of real estate experience.
Before starting Longview, Mr. Fitzpatrick was responsible for starting AIG Global Real Estate and turning it into one of the most diversified real estate companies in the world. Prior to AIG, he held senior leadership positions with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Washington D. C. and was with Rockresorts, Inc. in the Virgin Islands.
Mr. Fitzpatrick received a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator, former President of the Cornell Hotel Society and Trustee of the Cornell Hotel Society Foundation. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, the School of Hotel Administration’s Dean’s Advisory Board, Cornell Council, the Real Estate Advisory Board for the Diocese of Brooklyn New York, and the Advisory Boards for the Cornell Real Estate Program, the New York Office of the Enterprise Foundation, and NYU School of Real Estate.
