The Cornell Program in Real Estate welcomes Kevin Flaherty, VP of Sales and Marketing for Genesis Homes, part of Michigan-based Champion Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Flaherty’s visit grew out of students’ exposure to issues in manufactured housing at this past fall’s ULI conference in Denver and the subsequent request to hear more about this sector of the real estate industry. Kevin, with 22 years of management experience in manufactured housing, will present on “The Factory-Built Construction Sector.”

Mr. Flaherty joined Redman Homes as Sales Manager for the North Carolina plants in 1995, two years prior to the acquisition of Redman Homes by Champion Enterprises. Since that date, Flaherty has held the position of General Manager for the Sanford and Pembroke, NC plants. Flaherty was promoted to his current post in 2003. Flaherty entered the factory home industry in 1983 in Western Colorado where for 5 years he managed Jack McLaughlin Homes, a factory home retailer and developer. Flaherty received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder as well as an MBA with an emphasis on marketing.
