Forest City’s Ronald Ratner to Provide Perspective on RE Development

The Cornell Program in Real Estate Fall Real Estate Industry Seminar series concludes this Thursday with a visit from Ronald Ratner, Director of Forest City Enterprises and President of Forest city Residential Group. Mr. Ratner will include remarks on mixed use development, running a real estate enterprise, insights into real estate employment and undoubtedly other topics in his inimitable style. Mr. Ratner’s experience with Forest City began in 1975 and has included direct development, construction, financing and management responsibilities, beginning with individual projects and executive supervision of multiple large scale developments on a national level. He has had direct responsibility for over 40,000 residential units in 15 States.

Mr. Ratner is a member of the Cornell Program in Real Estate Advisory Board and most recently was a panelist at the 23rd Annual Cornell Real Estate Conference held in Ithaca in 2005. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis University, completed the Masters Program in Architecture at UCLA, and is a member of ULI and Director of the National Multi-Housing Council.
