Some students will want to seek a permanent position in the company where the interned; others will broaden their search and revive old contacts. In the second year, you will continue to refine your job-search skills, incorporating the work experience of your first year into an updated resume and speaking knowledgeably about the field to potential employers.

Other options for individuals with a master’s degree in real estate include positions with private investment firms, nonprofit organizations, and public development agencies.
