Lars Kollmann, PRE Class of 2009
“During the summer of 2006 I came to the US to visit several universities and programs offering graduate degrees in real estate or business administration. My Cornell visit was outstanding, and it made a difference in my decision about which program to attend. The Program in Real Estate hosted me very professionally and cordially, and, unlike all the other programs I visited, they received me as an individual prospective student rather than as part of a group event. During my stay I was able to talk to Dr. David Funk, Director of the Program, and three real estate professors. In addition I was hosted by two students who accompanied me to their classes so I could fully appreciate the academic aspect of the Program. The day ended late in the afternoon with the weekly Real Estate Industry Seminar followed by a reception and then a little of the Ithaca night-life. The entire experience convinced me that I had found the right Program and sent a strong message that Cornell puts students first.”
