Marty Stern Receives Holleb Community Service Award from Lambda Alpha International
On June 20, during Lambda Alpha International’s annual dinner at the Peninsula Hotel, Mr. Stern was honored for his exceptional dedication and service to clients, both public and private. This award recognizes his significant contributions to the metropolitan community’s greater good, using his vast depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in real estate development, finance, operations and marketing to find solutions to the most complex projects.
Mr. Stern is a partner in U.S. Equities Realty, where he is involved in development and transaction assignments and is head of the Advisory Services Group. U.S. Equities Realty is a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Chicago. The company has four main segments of its business: asset management and leasing services, development/program management services, investment and financial services, and real estate consulting services. U.S. Equities Realty serves as a real estate advisor to clients in both the United States and South America.
Lambda Alpha International, the Honorary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics, was founded at Northwestern University in 1930 under the leadership of the renowned land economist, Richard T. Ely. As an honorary society, its purpose is to provide a forum for the study and advancement of land economics for those who apply its principles in the preservation, development or better utilization of the world’s land resources.
Mr. Stern is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Program Advisory Board.
