Please join us for lunch and to meet and network with Cornell alums and guests involved in the greater Los Angeles, real estate community. Bill Witte, President of Related California will share how his firm is sustaining the vision for numerous large and complicated projects throughout California.
Mr. Witte is the President and Managing Partner of Related California, one of the largest developers of urban and multifamily housing in the state. Related has over $3billion of development under way in California, including the Grand Avenue project in downtown Los Angeles. Its financial partner is The Related Companies L.P. of New York City, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate companies.
Prior to joining The Related Companies in1989, Mr. Witte held key housing and economic development positions during eight years of service with the City of San Francisco. Prior to his tenure in San Francisco, Mr. Witte served in 1980 as Executive Assistant to the Federal Housing Commissioner at HUD in Washington and as Legislative Director for the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. He began his career with the Philadelphia Office of Housing and Community Development in 1975.
Mr. Witte received a B.A. in Urban Studies and a Masters in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
